(Matthew 24:37) But as the days of Noah were; so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
…AND…
(Genesis 6:5) And the LORD Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth; and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
This man is going to be sorely disappointed when the "rapture" doesn't happen..... Nowhere is a secret "rapture" taught in Scripture! Can you just picture it?..planes falling out of the sky, vehicles crashing, business suddenly stopping because thier occupants are suddenly, secretly "raptured" to "heaven"! It would be utter chaos....it's so laughable, but yet millions believe this stuff! Sunday is also un-biblical, and so is X-Mas, Easter, Halloween, and other catholic/protestant holidays!
@Fingalful I agree and you basically support my point with another aspect that the gifts of the Spirit are not a ticket to Heaven. Mat 7:22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
@anyusmoon1 True. But it's only one side. Doreen Irvine, a witch spoke 10 languages fluently without learning them. When she became a Christian she lost them. I have friends, a married couple who claimed to be a Christians and could "speak in tongues." Yet the wife did not put the Scriptures on a high level and disagreed with certain things Jesus Christ and the Bible said. The husband is now an atheist.
31:10 How can these people have cast out devils, heal, speak in tongues if they 'never' had the Holy Spirit indwell them, ie if Jesus never 'knew' them?
Doesn't scripture tell us the gifts of the Holy Spirit (who must have indwelled in the first place) will never be taken away? So, it is a predicament that some will continue to 'appear in the Spirit' but in fact not be.
so pleased to hear truth, when its hard to find it in the world today. JESUS is LORD. come LORD JESUS
