This color portrait was done in 7 Hrs using a Neuma N2, and 9&18 round needle groups (No Mags). The full version is on a instructional DVD that will show the entire tattoo form start to finish, including Colors, Machines, the Stenciling process, my thoughts as I'm working, and much more. Thanks to Henry for sitting still for 7 straight hours without so much as a bathroom break, as well as Addictions Tattoo and Body Piercing in Salem, Oregon for putting up with me.

  • The Neuma hits softer than standard machines, it takes a little getting used to it. However it can line and shade just fine. I use mine for both. I haven't found any machine that blend or layer color as well as the Neuma. It does tattoo slower however if you are doing solid fill of any kind. I would recommend them for anyone who has reached the limits of there standard machine and is looking for more. Without them, I couldn't produce the work I do.

  • Yes, I'll be adding more as I film them.

  • What licensed artist would pay for a dvd of this??? If they can't do something this simple, they shouldn't be in the biz. You're barking up the wrong tree...you are going to attract nothing but newbs.

  • Dam.... I want you to do a portrait for me!!

  • Aw((: This came out clean nigga!

  • Bro I specialize in portraits & this tat does not look like that boy, Im sorry.. It kills me how tattoo artists w/ licences never want to show new people any tips or tricks & most of you "vets" suck at doing portraits... the head is lopsided, the mouth/ cheeks look wierd, the hairline is off, the nose is in wrong spot....
