  • Hey Nadia, I ws wondering did you experience stomach pain during the course of your disease? Did it effect your mood or make you depressed? Did certain foods make it worse than others? Also did you do the Specific Carb Diet?

  • @moonprincess3331, yes I had pains quite often. It can effect my mood cuz I hate being sick, but I try not to let it get me down too much, but depressed? not to the point where I can't get out of it. I really like to smile and make others smile too. Certain foods do bother me: spicy, vegetables, seeds, nuts, etc. I tried the SCD diet and although some of it worked, my illness was so severe it couldn't help me as much. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! Thanks and good luck!

  • Great info. I have UC and after two accidents I also decided to be prepared, so I purchased a back pack I could take with me when I leave the house. Besides some work related items, I have extra pants, socks, underwear, shirt, wipes, and garbage bags. It's come in handy on a couple of occasions!

  • @wreichert Great tips! Thanks for sharing!
