I think it's the best movie about "love" ever made. I'm 25 year old dude and I hate these kind of flicks but Blue Valentine was impeccable movie.

@Bnrobee Same, it was so real. My boyfriend and I watched it together, and there were parts of both characters that reminded us so much of ourselves and each other. We'd been together for 4 years, and it helped us (who are already extremely close) learn a lot about each other. Really awesome.

My boyfriend reminds me of Ryan Gosling so much which is why I decided to watch this movie and I'm so glad I did. Goslings character is funny and the couple seemed so real. It is not your everyday movie type fairytale romance (it's very realistic), watch it with your significant other, you may learn something about each other...
