This is the track "Circle of Power" from the Ultramega OK album by Soundgarden. It's distinct in that it's one of the only songs by the band with vocals by someone other than Chris Cornell (bassist Hiro Yamamoto).

  • Big ole' bad ass circle of powers

    comin to getcha!!

  • Killer music,terrible vocals.

  • @STlNKUPUS I said Grunge was influenced by hardcore punk and heavy metal with some indie, alt influences. I'm not a hipster by the way, how the hell did you get that idea?

  • Nice to hear this one and others again. I haven't listened to Soundgarden much since this record was stolen from me in 1990. I bought ultramega when it came out and drove my buddies/girlfriends crazy with it! Still have an early ep that was a gift on a trip to Bremerton for the Lollapallooza, very good too. After Soundgarden Ministry came on, blew my eardrums and gave me a bad headache. I couldn't make it through the Chilis set. The later stuff I've heard is not as good, not as rough or heavy.

  • great

  • Russian highway motorcycle band brought me here

  • Then Eddie Vedder came along and made a career off singing just like this.....

  • @Sh1ftyLizard Sonic Youth is a far better band, and was considered very punk for their time. Nirvana still borrowed from them. The guy who got Kurt into punk in the first place was Buzz from the Melvins, so there you go

  • @TheGreaterGood80 Nirvana is barely comparable to Sonic Youth, so I think you should check your facts. Nirvana has definitely borrowed more from punk, Pearl Jam from classic rock especially The Who, Alice in Chains has a metal edge, and Soundgarden is just very distinct.
