  • Teflon (a.k.a. polytetrafluoroethylene) is not allowed in my home. It is just another example of FDA siding with industry(Dupont) with bogus scientific data (later disclosed) as "generally regarded as safe" (G.R.A.S.) ...although it is highly toxic to birds and emits toxic fumes when heated (esp. above 250*C/ 482*F). DO NOT use teflon pans for roasting anything! The "seasoning" (blackening) will occur on any coffee roasting pan with time....non-credo.

  • is that pan teflon coated ??????.....
