    1) the ocean doesn't release CO2, it stores CO2, and balances out with the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. the ocean acts as a buffer.

    2) yes, green houses are warmer, but no, green houses don't have more CO2.

    face it: the world consumes (and mostly burns) about 85 million barrels of oil each day: that's a lot of CO2

    (and indeed, there are other greenhouse gasses like methane from farting cows)
