I am not gay myself, but am glad that the gay community of Iran exists.
I live in Israel and we have a gay community here too.
It shows that no matter how madly theocratic the governments, there are always going to be outcasts in every society.
You can't will away gays simply by waving a baton at them. More often, accepting people for who they are is easier done than harming them.

IF YOU HATE GAYS PLEASE READ THIS. Part 1 Im a straight woman and DONT understand gays and lesbians at all. The fact that they can be in love, and satisfy each other mentally and sexually, is unfathomable to me. However, in order to get some perspective I have always thought what if the world was gay and I, as a straight woman was a minority? Is there any way I can change? Think about it? And I cant, there is absolutely no way. So my message is to PLEASE lets respect each others differences
