  • the chord sequence resembles the doors' "hello i love you."

  • my cool boyfriend,s favourite track of all time

  • Oh, and you're right -- this album is especially killer when ya smoke. And turn down the lights on the music room, and drift away to the late 1960's.

  • Even Brian thought this album would be considered the Stones' "answer" to Sgt. Pepper; but for the most part, it actually stands on its own. This is one example of a great song that never made it real big. Pity.

  • This is the all time greatest alblum when you smoke.I have the original sheet music.Happy to see younger people are enjoying this.Peace

  • @mickeyadams527 i knoww, its funny though because like people make it out ot be a complete rip-off of sgt. peper's , but its actually a pretty good record in my opinion, a bit far out for the stones, but its still good.

  • @TheTeehee97 o course, this was the stones answer t sgt. peppers, i read it in the rolling stone years ago

  • always loved this song. check out "We Love You". Some good lesser known songs on Metamorphosis: "I Don't Know Why I Love You Babe" "Jiving Sister Fanny" "I'm Going Down". Don't remember if "Memo From Turner" is on that one. I thought it was on one of the older pressings. I know that there is a version of "Out of Time" that was on an older pressing which is not the same version that is on the London Years singles collection.

  • Interesting song, to say the least. I've always liked "Citadel". Before actually hearing it, I half assumed the title was a reference to the famous WWII battle on the Eastern front..clearly this song is about something else.
