Hey.. do you know if i have a backup/time machine of my mac and restore it. but then i regret it and want it the way i had my mac before i restored it, is it possible to get it back to the way i had it when i did the time machine thing ?

So i followed this step by step and it seemed to be doing its job. but I got an error message while it was installing saying "there was a problem installing support files, try restarting your computer and running install Mac Osx again." Any Ideas?

can you just do a time machine backup and still have everything? Why did you backup your itunes separately, wouldn't time machine do that?

@taxivid time machine backs up EVERYTHING. i just wanted my itunes so i just copied the entire itunes file. i hope that helped?
