They used to have studios at their single stick tranny north of town. I worked at their classical music FM on the other side of the AM studio. It died. That was my last radio gig. I now write for magazines, make movies and think about what might have been.
I spent alot of time listening to KANO back in 1988. Won a few music trivia contests for $10 pizza and Counrty Kitchen gift Certs. Sometimes I could swear I was the youngest listener ( 18yrs ) they had at the time. I do remember that the signal was a little weak, even for an AM station.

I worked at KANO, 1960-1965. We tried to boost power by erecting a new tower. Didn't help. I quit the radio business and never looked back.
