Walrus was a British band, they played fuse rock and jazz, coloured with heavy, brassy funk. Story started in the late sixties, with bassist Steve HAWTHORN who formed Walrus.
Their self-titled album was issued by Deram, the home of all things progressive. Here belonged for example
Caravan, Keef Hartley Band, Moody Blues, Savoy Brown, Ten Years After, Egg, Ashkan, Galliard, Bill Fay.
Walrus was inspired by the music of American bands such as Blood, Sweat & Tears and Chicago.
Sadly, this is their only one album. Before splitting up in 1972, drummer Ian Mosley replacing Nick Gabb. All of the members of the band, it was Mosley (who had not played on any recordings by the band), who achieved the most success, firstly joining Darryl Way's Wolf before moving on to be an integral member of Steve Hackett's band and finally joining Marillion.

I'm not familiar with Walrus or this genre, but what wonderful musicianship! Your longest upload so far, and showing your commitment to a variety of musical styles within your channel. Thank you for the upload. Blind Man was my favourite of the trilogy ... a song that really grows on one. "In a valley of darkness ... the blind man is king." Indeed ... and in our sleep we are all equal to express ourselves in our dreams. : )

@zzenzero I know it's not your genre; it makes my glad bigger that you listened to it and then choosed your favourite one among the 3 parts of the triogy. Good choice - thanks for your kind words, I appreciate them very much :)
