Animation vs real life test

Novice fighting with poring from Ragnarok online RO. Chibiasperagus did the animation, the costume and played the novice.

Was that easy to do? If so, what program have you used? (ive adobe after effect but never bothered playing around with it)

@HeroinMethod Yes it's made using AE. Motiontracking the original footage and binding the animation to it, using a copy of the animation layer to make it look like a shadow and then a particle effect in the end. Oh and some rotoscoping where needed. It was quite a while ago since I made it but I think that's how I did it :)
