Poor thing died. Tons of people coming for a look. We got there quite late as darkness was falling and the tide was coming in.

  • Yup, they asked if they could use a clip which my son was delighted with.

  • I always find dead creatures don't suffer that much misery. Maybe it's different in your part of the world. Not a fan of natural history museums either then?

  • Hope to take more tomorrow, earlier in the day with better light and without the imminent threat of drowning :-)

  • Wait this was in Ireland? Well where the fuck was I?!

  • i saw this on tv?

  • i aw it 2 but dare where people kickin and jumpin on it i went the friday before it put to rest for gud

  • They did. The whale and dolphin society etc. were tryiong to save it for hours but it still died. Whales rarely survive after beaching themselves. Sick, injured or dying animals do it themselves deliberately. There's SFA you can do. The thing weighed 15 tonnes o.O

  • The whale was dead at 11.30 the morning of its discovery, there was really nothing that could be done. Recording the video of a dead whale of Record Breaking size is not sick and I can i imagine it is something that makes you more sympathetic to the natural world.

  • Omg, poor whale! D: Why didn't you call the cops or something?

  • im in cork. poor thing. great vid

  • Zed's dead baby
