The song "You're My World," which helped Susan win the 1986 Miss America crown, was originally recorded by Cilla Black (1964) and covered by Helen Reddy (1977).

She battled a drug problem... She's not involved with this program at all anymore, but yes she is huge now!

@lafawndagould I think I DID hear something like this before, or read it in the Community Hall chat room on the Miss America website. I thought too that I read she was in a bad car accident, that left her disfigured. Was that a true statement, or just a rumor? Just curious. Either way, I feel for her, and it's a shame.

@Parker528 Well don't worry now... she has no problem with being too thin! She's about 315 lbs now. Not attractive. I didn't even believe her when she told me who she was. She's a slob, dead broke, and huge. Really sad considering what she couldve done with her life.
