Hi; I'm the owner of this account, but lost the password and switched my ISP and was unable to recover the login.
Anyway it most certainly does work in an arena. But the bond with Errika (the horse in the video) was built up from years of understanding and trust. When I got her, now 5 years ago, I started in a round pen. I feel that joining up can be done anywhere anytime, but is only a product of the trust and relationship.
its the owner of the account, and when you train for it and you and your horse from a bond it shouldnt matter if your in a round pen or in the middle of the bush, you may be confusing tye horse with mixed signals, when you drop you outside should its like a rope attachted to the horses nose, he should pull it around, its hard to explain without acually showing, but yeah, everyone has there own opinions and although it does work
[i'm leaving this on my friends account so please don't reply rudly to her]
I do it in a full sized arena, as well as in fields, and paddocks as well. It works equally effective in a small pen, but in a larger area it provees their trust in you and that they would rather be quiet, and by your side, then working around you.
I hav read that big arena's work but not aswell and if u really want a response you need a round corral

i really dont think it works as well or effectively in a big arena like this although it obviously does work as you have demonstrated very well
