Kevin Sullivans new film about the iconic Anne Shirley stars Hannah Endicott-Douglas, Shirley MacLaine, Barbara Hershey and Rachel Blanchard. The film revolves around an older Anne remembering her years before she came to Green Gables.

I love seeing how much people appreciate what Megan has accomplished with this role. I agree, she just can't be replaced as Anne and no other actress will come close for those of us who grew up with her brilliant portrayal. The kid's cute and I feel bad for her, but she had some pretty big shoes to fill. Kevin Sullivan should have left this one alone.

Meghan has this way of acting that NO ONE can compare. This, though, is a girl over exagerating every single line. 80's Anne of Green Gables is nothing but a pure CLASSIC and should not be remade in my opinion.
