Look, Redneck Rampage isn't a "technical" shooter. In fact, you're supposed to play with the ironsights off!
You should be able to keep Leonard right at the line of drunkeness, between Cow Pies and Pork Rinds. In fact, if you're having extraordinary difficulty with the ammo situation... you must not be very good at shooters.
Level design, overall game design really, was REALLY subpar for the time, yes, but the wit and atmosphere is practiaclly unmatched

@Zontar82 - Cool I didn't realize you could make Lionel pee to lower your drunk level... would have made my play through a lot easier if I knew that!

@Zontar82 No, I did not. Just checked the manual, and yes, the pissing is mentioned, but w/o in-game effect explanation. Um, feeling kinda stupid right now. Will try some another day to get into game again.

This game disappointed me terribly. I'm a big fan of Duke3d, Blood and Shadow Warrior, but RR is simply bad. Levels tend to be very maze-y and long, all 3 keys are identical, yet they open different doors, and maps are badly unbalanced in enemy/ammo count. The alcohol/food mechanic sounds interesting at first, but during gameplay you're pretty much screwed, when the only way of healing is to get drunk and wait, like, 5 minutes until Lionel sobers. The only redeeming value for me is the ost... :(
