The main evening bulliten as aired on BTQ 7 Brisbane in April of 2002.

The presenters:
Kay McGrath (News) and Sport with Pat Welsh. The bulliten had no weather presenter (in Brisbane Frank Warrick [former Co-Newsreader] always did it) - they would eventually rope in Tony Johnston (of 'Wipeout' and 'The Great Outdoors')

The days top stories - More jobs lost at one of the big banks (on this day NAB) - shutting more of its branches.

Clip also features promo's and opener for the statebased Today Tonight with then presenter Michelle Reiken AND the 2002 style Ident - with the Brisbane presenters inserted.

  • Kay McGrath is Queensland's best news reader!!

  • This bulletin is broadcast in the week Ann-Maree was eliminated from The Mole, also an assignment taking place at ANZ Stadium (a.k.a. Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre).

  • They don't pack as much into newsbreaks nowadays.

  • SHE IS A MILF 2009

  • Not just old, but Brisbane produced.

Within a year of this airing, Brisbane's TT was gone, after six months of the then Syd-Melb edition airing in Brisbane.

  • Great Job Kay !!

    Great Editing !!

Only 7 years ago.. but it seems longer.

  • the music is very diffrent to the current one, niel warrin is still a reporter for 7news and today to night is very old!!!

  • she is a kiwi!

  • i agree.

  • Thanks again. Kay is very good - I have no idea why Brisbane deserted her while solo.
