@shaurz Occupy is totally 'open source' in being generated entirely by voluntary collaboration. Open source is software development collaboration in a very similar sense to OWS. (OWS could use an svn repo for its manifests.)
Voluntary communalism (within the framework of capitalism) is a beautiful thing and even quite effective at many types of business. I wish all the intelligent occupiers the best, but don't forget to register to vote for Ron Paul! He's the only one for REAL bank reform!

As soon as this END THE FED Demonstration happened, Villaraigosa ordered the demolition of Occupy LA.
It wasn't a coincidence. You guys hit the nail on the head and they don't like it when people put the pieces together.

THIS. This is how I always understood the occupy movement. It's not a group of spoiled rotten children wanting to steal from the 1%. It is the forming of a consensus and then going from there. Many of the demands from occupy are good and one of them is to abolish the fed.

Know our real enemy - it's not the 1%, it's the .001%.
The .001% secretive evil elite's most effective weapon against the 99.999% is to keep us divided, racially, politically, socially, nationally, religiously. And they've been using this weapon for all of history, even since ancient times.
The Occupy Movements are a sign that humanity is finally seeing how we're victims of false divisive paradigms.
