Electric car with 21 batteries

This was an electric car we built with 21 batteries totaling 31 volts. The motor was a 24 volt printer motor which made the car accelerate really fast. We had to use extra sticky rubber rings for the tires that came out of the paper feed of the printer.
The goal of the car was to make the fastest accelerating car, which it was amazing!
Later I made one with a Dewalt 12v motor from a cordless drill. That thing wnet like a rocket, but the batteries would get real hot after about 30 seconds! Of course pulling 8 amps out of AA cells is never a good idea.
