Yes it was. That's what made BlackBerry who they are. They are famous for having the qwerty keyboard and that's one of the biggest reason's why I love BlackBerry. Touchscreen keyboards are terrible. But if you like them and like BlackBerry, just get the Z10. That doesn't have a qwerty keyboard.

The physical keyboard is the reason why I'm thinking about getting this phone. I want a good smartphone but I hate those virtual keyboard. I wanna be able to type without looking and unless I become God, it is impossible to do so on a virtual keyboard.

My wife bought a new Z10 and after 4 days dropped it in our living room on the carpet when it was in a case. The screen smashed. Not well made at all. I can drop an I-phone and it will not break in the same circumstance. Don’t buy Blackberry. Cost us a lot of money. Lesson learned!
