Rail Staff Speak Up Saade Abdallah

Thursday 27th August 2009. Saade Abdallah, RTBU union member with his views on the cutting of station staff jobs and what needs to be done. A last minute rally was organised by rail unions to confront NSW Premier Rees, who was visiting Central Station in Sydney to make a publicity statement. Workers on Railway Stations are being dumped by the government at an unprecedented rate.
At a time when the global recession is hurting working people the NSW Government is downsizing and privatising what public assets are available. We're not going to take it.
