The Hagakure is one of the greatest books ever. The guy in the video seems to have little understanding of the book yet still I give him credit for trying to read it. This is not a book which can be simply read...but should be studied as it is very complex. "The Way of the Samurai is in desperateness. Ten men or more cannot kill such a man. Common sense will not accomplish great things. Simply become insane and desperate.'

One of the greatest books I had ever had the pleasure of owning. Along with book of five rings, and multiple translations of Sun Tzu's art of war. :)

Only if we make efforts to not just do something, but do something with a goal in mind. A reason, a cause, one man can make a difference, but that is only if he has the resolve and will to stand amongst many to achieve a goal for all. A future can be seen to those who do less thinking about doing and more doing. Failure is always a possibility, but not an inevitability.A man can be wise, but without actions he is nothing more than a good speaker.

@Batmanfan6644 The unwritten code of Bushido is the one code of ethics that I strive to live by. It stands for utmost discipline, something not many people have in today's world. I'm not trying to say "Oh yeah, I live by it no joke, it's great!"...no. What I am trying to say is I've lived with discipline my whole life before enlisting in the Army and Bushido is my code of honor I strive to live by as best I can. Because wasn't it Gandhi who said, "Be the change you want to see in the world?"

Yamamoto was a true man and no matter how many trolls want to put down or slander the way of the samurai it cannot be done for the way is not applied as a bases of what a samurai should be, but a guidance to point them in the right direction. Life is no more valuable than a child's toy, to cling to it's embrace us simply cowardice...

@DARKSONIC453 yes i have, the book is very informative on how the samurai miyamoto musashi would use his skills to defeat enemy.

it's more something like 5 rollers than 5 rings...rollers made of bamboo on which it was written at that time...

Truth is, in war time (before this fantasy was written), samurai were very opportunistic with their loyalty. Why would you believe that samurai were completely loyal? Its not true at all. Man, the fucking unification of Japan was set in motion because samurai clans were won over by one party.

got it too!!!

i second that.

Before insulting what you assume I know, seriously stop and find out what I actually know. Anything said in here strictly pertains to the book itself, not on all Samurai as a whole. I know this, and I know and have done extensive research on the Feudal Era.
Again, I applaud you for taking time out of your life to just to rant about something a bit off topic then what this video was about, but for someone complaining I don't know my facts, you seem to assume a bit much yourself.

Well, I applaud you for the lengthy rant on my review. And I will thank you for giving me some more back round on the book and Yamamoto himself; however I will point out a few things.
No where in my video did I say the way of the Samurai wasn't about killing; I stated there was simply more to it then just that. I knew that about the Feudal Era; oddly enough it was just last night I did my report on the time, so I know the back story
