@ThatSoJamie Pretty much. hunters need to move a certain way:
'tight' fore legs over the jump. trotting, they're legs need to look about to touch each other on the same side. they need to cover alot of ground, without useing alot of energy.

I personally love both very much. Jumping and eventing are Olympic sports and I hope to be in one when I'm older.

jumpers is more fun. I did hunter jumper for 4 years and it was really boring but i did it cause it was good for the rider. Then I started jumpers 3 years ago and I'm never going back! its the best sport ever.

i ride hunters as you can probably tell. and riders risk there lives and people think horse riding is not a "sport".!! i would love to see a football player or a basketball player ride a horse. thumbs up if you agree!!!!!!
