Beautiful. I had a restored 550 A3 model, until some dumb arse rear ended me in traffic and wrote if off (along with three cars) decent leathers saved me though, only very minor injuries.

Why don't modern bikes have battery meters? Quite important - especially with electric starters. I'm restoring an old Honda CBX550F2 - I hope it turns out as good as your GPz.

Just curious. Why is the warning light flashing. Mines on but it's solid. Even when riding. I have a leaky oil drain plug. Is that the reason?

Beautiful bike here, I used to own a 85 GPz550, the colour is exactly like yours, it was rock steady while doing 120mph on the motorways, silky smooth engines which is not that outdated even comparing to the modern bikes. Please upload the video here if you are goint to take it on the road.
