http://www.andersonroe.com | Impression #2 from "STAR WARS FANTASY" composed and performed by the Anderson & Roe Piano Duo

Recorded live in concert at The Juilliard School

In composing our "Star Wars Fantasy: Four Impressions for Two Pianos," we took motives from John Williams' iconic score and constructed a brand new work. The second impression is a very free interpretation of the "Force Theme" heard throughout all six Star Wars films.

  • Yeah sorry, but I'm gonna help give that lightsaber a handle...

This doesn't sound or feel right. I keep expecting it to feel chilling or triumphant, but all I keep hearing is a note that sounds completely wrong. It sounds less like a pianist engrossed in his art and more like someone who does NOT know how to play piano fumbling for the right keys for the melody. I'm sure that's not the case, and that time and effort was put into this version, but it just isn't working...

  • I tried to dislike this video then suddenly I took a laser beam to the knee

  • I absolutely love this arrangement, there's so much feeling and quiet to it than the more brash themes that we've all heard so many times.

  • The dislike bar isn't long enough to make a lightsaber

  • Please do ACROSS THE STARS..... it's so beautiful and poetic :(

  • oh wow... a hybrid physics and star wars joke as a top comment... what has the world come to?

  • i don't like this interpretation at all. sorry.

  • @sharkyjay

  • that was inpressive realy

  • @jebsievers if you were true jedi you would have resolved the matter peacefully
