I think the ad was a joint Anglo-French production, it was made in California, shown all over Britain where it was the talk of the town ... one of the best
Flat Eric's creator is french, the actor with him is also french
Levi wanted to boost sales but the ad was so popular that they broke their 'one advert and you're out' rule and a legend was born
