This video is lacking in information. When did these children die? In the 70's, when corporal punishement was still being used, AT HOME as well as at residential programs?. Not only have programs changed, but laws have changed.

Restraint deaths? The methodogy for restraints has changed significantly to avoid suffocation and some states have laws against it in those settings.

Dehydration -Outward bound is a not a residential treatment program.

Get all the info before you decide.

I was raped just a few years ago and beat in one of these programs... I made the video. Additionally, kids are still dying monthly in these tyoe if programs. You need to learn your infomation, these are private programs with NO LAWS though California Congressman George Miller is trying to get laws changed. Oh yes some of the programs named in the video are also still open. I am not someone who came across this issue and made a video. I lived this less than 10 years ago;

How do you get in these places? I just started looking up all the fema camps and have found some things documented by the government themselves that i question. It just sucks because people like us, (while i may not totally believe, i do find things to need answers for.) we can't see it, or anything until it happens to us.

I wish we could blow the lid off these places and find out for sure if they are for disaster victems or something more dark.

The good thing about going through what I went through is to never believe what someone tells you is true without researching it yourself trust nobody. I was also in a group home in Plainfield IL that one is closed down, and the same structure. I was restrained there, and staff don't care if you can breath or not. They will lay on you until your a pancake. Lets just say I kicked the whole system in rear for holding me against my will., and other kids in the home.

I used to be in Kemmerer Village in IL back in 90's I used to be a foster kid. They don't even consider you a human being by calling you a client. How about just calling me my name. They will make you sit in a chair for hours over things that kids do like talking during bedtime. Your on a level system, and if the staff don't like you no matter what you do your level never goes up. They also drug kids instead of care about. A girl committed suicide here staff acted like nothing even happened.

People shouldn't have to be trained. Whatever happened to simply caring about others than just yourself? If they were having a hard time with these kids. They should have demanded politicians to fix the problems, or find other solutions. As well as find other family members willing to work with their kids to bring them back home. These people killed these kids there is no excuse to harm another person.

Autumn, Chase Moody, son of Brown's Schools attorney, Charles Moody, was 17 when he was restrained to death on Oct. 14, 2002, at the On Track Wilderness Program, in Mason, Texas. The laws have changed and another boy was killed in an illegal restraint at Daystar in 2011. Once Michael was dead, the staff determined he had the cap to a pen in his hand. He died over a pen's cap! Ruled a homicide (sounds better than murder) and has not resulted in charges or convictions in Texas, for over 14 years.
