  • Very cool. I love the Madness version but it is great to hear the original ska version. Good white remakes are cool but the black originals are the real deal and part of the fun is hearing what inspired some of my favorite artists, like Clapton and the Stones, and getting the same !WOW! that got them started. Enjoy Thorogood but know the Bo.

  • Don't think I've heard the Madness version man. I'll have to download it.

  • Yeah man I love this tune.

  • @Freebird76Slippy I think the guitarist later played with Linton Kwesi Johnson. :-)

  • this is Reggae...

  • @Thilde91 LOL, are you goosing me or making a catty remark? (Maybe this thread is my swan song.) Good call, but it is a very nice arrangement in this ska version, just wanted people to give props to the first group that crossed it over to skaville, the Cats, even though the Madness version gave me an entirely new appreciation for Tchaikowsky's version. Now, I wonder if someone can do a ska version of the 1812 Overture (or would that be Bad Manners?)

  • @moseleycat i hope you know the tune is from the composer Tchaikowsky his Swan Lake ..

  • im a huge madness fan and just found that this was the inspiration for their version, and have to say this one is brilliant, and ive discovered a new band to find out about and enjoy :-)
