In Memory of Landan Harris - 6 mos

Im memory of my 3yr old son Landan Harris who passed away 11/16/06 from Bacterial Meningitis. 5/16/07 marks 6 months that Ive wanted him back & missed him.

Heartbreaking, seeing his empty car seat with the black, stuffed animal taking his place, well, it was so sad. I am so very sorry, words cannot take your pain, ever, he was so beautiful outside and inside, too. God bless you and give you strength.

What are you TALKING about? Have you ever lost a child? Grieving is a life long process and it is entirely life changing, especially when grieving after losing a child. It's the most backwards and awful type of death. You can't tell someone to be happy after losing a child no matter where they "are now". I get sick of hearing that from people. You just obviously don't know the right things to say to someone after such a tragic loss, which there are hardly any words that help.

You shouldnt be sad for him but happy, he is already there where we all are striving to be. And just imagine how incredible it is going to be when he will greet you in heaven when you reach there! It is just a separation for little time, as if he is gone to summer camp. One day we all shall meet and surely you will meet him. He is with his real father where there is no pain, no suffering and only love & peace.

My sincerest condolences to you. You have made my keyboard wet with tears. Landan looked such a sweet kid. Loosing a child must be the worst thing in the world.
