wilmaohman You are WRONG. Elvis & his parents DID NOT raise Priscilla from 13-14 yrs old. I don't know where people get such bizarre ideas. Elvis met Priscilla in Germany & Elvis left there in Mar.1960 when Pris.was almost 15. Priscilla stayed in Germany with HER parents, & both Elvis & Pris.dated others for 3 yrs. She made two 2 wk visits in 62 in CA/ Vegas in Summer & Graceland at Christmas.. Anita Wood moved out of GL between Pris visits. Priscilla moved to GL in Mar 1963 at almost 18.

@custardaghost I agree, he styled her to look like some plastic Barbie doll. She looked best in 70's and 80's with blond hair and less make-up she had a perfect face which I envied her. Not now anymore...

He made her look absolutely awful - his idea of styling and an attractive look for a woman meant turning a teenager into looking like a cosmetics-caked hooker. That black beehive was also hideous. The fashions of the early-mid 1960s favoured this look (the worst in fashion history IMHO) but he took it all the way and dictated how she looked.

No surprise that as soon as they separated, Priscilla immediately and permanently changed her look.

@TheBlueeyes2216 I have the book lELVIS AND ME,WRITTEN BY PRISCILLA. she met ELVIS when she was 14 and at age16 ELVIS convinced her father to let her live in GRACELAND,where he put her in catholic school,they shared his bedroom,but no sex! they were so in love she lived at GRACELAND,till they married.but in 1972 before a concert ,she told ELVIS SHE WAS LEAVING him,ELVIS was sohurt she cried and they hugged. she said you will be the only man i will ever love! in my heart the loved remain always

@ElvisSacramento Good comments, when I was younger - a teen when Elvis died , I too thought if only Pricilla stayed, but as I have grown up married,had kids, divorced, reflected on life and matured, I see that there is two sides of every story, and as much as you love someone sometimes it is best to go it without them, I thank Priscilla for opening Graceland and for keeping Elvis forever young, this is my view, God Bless Elvis, . . . . .from Lea - Australia
