http://www.GuitarJamTracks.com - D dorian or d minor pentatonic work great. (Using Em and its scales for lydian and E phygian dominant/A harmonic minor sounds good too, to build tension). Happy jamming :)

  • This is a D minor modal piece. So the best scales to play here are D blues and D dorian. A natural minor has the same notes as D dorian and that is why it sounds like an A. D natural minor is a no go. You get conflicting notes there.
