Indoor Gaelic Football

This is the Grand Final between Mazespi and Not So Serious. The video is the fourth and final quater. Indoor Gaelic Football is a mixture of the International Rules (played Aus V Ire) and well, being indoors. It is awesome to play!!!

The tape was a bit old so some of the captured footage is a bit jumpy.

5 players per team on the field at a time. 1 person acts as the goalie and cannot pass their respective 1/3 line. Players cannot enter the goalies area (semi-circle near the goal). An under (in the net) scores 3 points, an over (between the yellow lines above the net) is 1.

The ball can be thrown/kicked/handballed. A caught kick is a mark, no minimum distance. If a player has the ball in their hands and a person from the other team tags them then it is a turnover. Because we are the first group of people to play it in this format, the rules are still a lil blurry.

The game is played in 7 minute quarters.

The size of the court is equivelant to two indoor netball courts side by side.

There are only four teams at the moment playing but more are qued to join in. People who have seen the game love it!

This is not Bogball/paddyball, it seems like a game a bush of fuking headers who were drunk have just made up as they go along. It got everthing in it , why the fuck would any kid sane of mind play this shite for. Why not play, basketball or in door football ?. Does anyone know if these guys are Paddys, if they are trust them to come up with another crap game as if PADDYBALL and STICKFIGHTING , were not enought of a cunt games.
