  • Campaigning can be work too. But I suppose what you mean is that he does not find the necessity to be overbearing or obnoxious. That is possible.

  • Nanaji does the work, concentrates in his work, and thats the only thing he does.

Nanaji believes in a philosophy of work like all these people have, but he does not go out for campaigning. He stays in the land and gets the work done.

Relaization of a philosophy in practice is the sweetest thing in the world.

  • It is a cultural issue. People working under them will not take them seriously unless they are dominant, overbearing and obnoxious. Over time those habits stick and they begin to show it outside work also. Do you have reason to believe that Nanaji Deshmukh is any different? If he is how can he be effective? Your opinion will be appreciated.

  • I have met couple of these peoples from India, like the founder of barefoot college and Siva etc personally. They are so proud of themselves and think others as idiot.

I wanted to talk to him, and I have social and cultural status outside India, not a poor "aam aadmi" still they way these people behaved with me as if today or tomorrow they are going to win Nobel prize who the hell is me.

Anyway, I just wanted to congratulate them, as I felt proud as an India. They were busy with.....

  • I do not like the way I responded to your comments. I think I could have done better. How could I have done better? Ask me and I shall tell.

  • You are speaking from ignorance.

  • What is your problem with intelligent people working together? In your mind somehow they are fighting each other? Why that sort of attitude?

  • She collects and documents traditional seeds and documents traditional farming knowledge which are almost lost and spreads the knowledge by going to villages on Bija Yatras. It can have a synergistic impact on the work of people like Nanaji Deshmukh.

  • There is no good reason to think that there is only one way to the right thing or just one way to do the right thing to do.

  • That is the wrong attitude. They are doing different things for different reasons. People are not the same, so they contribute differently.

She helps people like him by changing the attitude of the American public against the American Multinationals that exploit the poor Indian villagers. American Multinationals exist on the strength of American law. American law can be changed by American voters. So she plays an important role in her campaigns. It is real work. Do not belittle her.
