  • have a look on ebay

  • Restored and drove my 1976 TR7 througout high school and I am almost finished with college. I cannot wait to take it out of storage. Always the most unique car on the lot!!!! It usually draws more attention than my 71' MGB. I am looking to put a five speed transmission in it. It was the loudest ( monza exhaust) car around too. Happy driving!

  • TR7 you're right i have had both MGB and TR and even though the Triumph can be much maligned, it's an eye catcher

  • i just love that car but i have mine a bit modified check it up at tr7 power

  • Sounds sweet i also have a Grinnall v8 check out the triumph forum .... John

  • Nice VID! Wish I still had my '80 TR8!

  • If you still want the TR fix go to triumphtr7 com loads of your fellow stateside owners on their. take a look at the Map and check out where they all are.. TRIUMPHENT isn't it :-)

  • Found one of these in the back of a junk yard, thought it was an old MR2 at first.

  • @TR7HS Very Cool!

  • Aewsome song

  • yes my minter is on atm

  • extra points for fitting music!!!

  • Another example of botched BL management, car should have been launched with the availability of a soft top and v8 engine, as it was we got the asmatic 4pot 2.0ltr and that god damn ugly hard top shape, the real shame is that LMH encouaraged by the goverment took over BMH to form BL a merger to far, had LMH decided against merging then i believe they would still be going srong today, merger with the dying behmoneth that was BMH doomed both companies

  • Loved mine. Drove my 77' Tr7 from 84-90'... mine too caught on fire .

  • My mate had one in the late 80`s "THE POOR MANS SPORTS CAR" is what they called it in our town, we used to drive round town in it all day, i must admit we loved it, even though we were forever filling in the bodywork because it rotted like a tin bucket and the handling was terrible, the suspension was so soft when we hit a sharp bend at speed we would scream thinking the damn thing was gona flip, but hey we loved the old thing, think the engine blew in the end, LMAO

  • my dad has triumph tr8 with a 4.2 ltr v8 check out the vid by tr8boy

  • I was in highschool when this car came out. I fell in love with but America did not, instead, American decided to fall in love withe Mzada RX7. Made me mad. British Leyland had the hottest cars on the market then, MG's, Triumph Spitfires and TR7's and the illustrious Jaguar XJ-S, so sexay. The TR7 is still my most fav car
