@wanderer1031 Yea, me too bro. I'm 38 but in 94 all my friends (who we're generally 5-10 yrs. Older) Talked about how great the Old School hardcore days were.

weak vocals? ya right lol

punk isn't about fashion never has been i wear jeans and t shirt and listen to the punkest bands out there, i don't give a fuck about fashion. i also like metal so fuck you all...defiance early stuff is awesome not so big on their new stuff. i personally know them so i can say this ha!...

it reminds me of a thought i had after turning down a serotonin drug from my doc the other day.
western medicine is slow eugenics; kill off a small percentage of emotional people (due to drugs to help) every generation adds up to all of them eventually.
peace and come listen to some fresh as feces music on my page if ya bored

@brodude175 These guys have potential to be something great but they waster their tiem and efforts on sounding like the baddest street punk out there and playing dress up.
-
@valleythrash So the fact that every single song in a Decade of Defiance (which is a compilation of all their "best" stuff except rise or fall material) has politics in it doesn't tell you that these guys will never write a song that has nothing to do with politics? I mean they even go as far as ripping a title from a Discharge track (does this system work?) without covering it or anything.
-
@brodude175 i really doubt that defiance made an effort to put pollitics in every song to 'fit in.' look punk has had some politics from the start so i really don't see your point whatsoever
-
@valleythrash Event he casualties are always talking about bashing commies which adds to that whole unecessary fighting. Expressing political opinion in music limits you to so much especially when EVERY single song has to have politics in it in order to fit in with the scene.
-
@brodude175 if you want less politics go listen to shit like the casualties
-
ya know i have always hated the stupid fucking labels everyone uses but back then we didn't consider defiance "street punk" it was PUNK
