Trenton NJ Citizens For Assembly - Joseph Sinagra

Joe Sinagra (http://www.joe-sinagra.com) is running for District 18. Born in New Brunswick, growing up in North Brunswick and Milltown, Joe Sinagra has been a resident of Middlesex County for 62 years.
Married to the former Patricia Genito for 39 years, they lived in New Brunswick for several years, until moving to Helmetta where they have resided for the past 33 years.
They have three children they are very proud of. Their two sons Joseph, Jr. a plumber, and Jeffrey who was a member of the Marine Honor Guard and Silent Drill Platoon while stationed at 8th & I. During his enlistment, Jeff passed away through an unfortunate accident. Their daughter Michele also served honorably while enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
Joe enlisted during the Vietnam Era serving honorably in the United States Air Force as a member of 1st Air Commando Wing (TAC).
After being discharged from the United States Air Force, Joe served as a printers apprentice before becoming a journeyman.
Attending both Middlesex and Union County Colleges for Business Management, he then became Plant Manager for a commercial printing company.
Elected to the Helmetta Borough Council in 1989, Joe had served until 1998. He was asked in 1999 to return to fill in for a one year un-expired seat by a Democratic controlled council. Joe was Council President for seven of those ten years, serving as a member of the Planning Board, as Emergency Management coordinator, Sanitation Committee Chair, and a member of the Drug Alliance Committee.
