"There's nothing else to see here" says the guy on the loudspeaker. Well obviously as a serious accident which made world wide news will just pass the spectators by (sarcasm). Not being xenophobic, but Americans seem to have quite a stereotype for that phrase.

If I were not trained in first aid or otherwise asked to help by someone who was or was otherwise in a position of authority and I had a video camera - I would have used it. Not for the sake of zooming in on the dead and injured for morbidity, but rather to scan the scene for the sake of archiving the event in history and quite possibly contributing to the benefit of subsequent investigations. I also think the announcer did an impeccable job under the circumstances. Blue Skies, Jimmy Leeward.
