(nigel schultz is on the platform readying himself to do a soundcheck for me as i test out the sound on the video camera a coupla weeks before having to video an AIDS awareness event)

good afternoon ladies and gentleman
its so nice to see that so many of you have come along
this afternoon to hear this speech on the emptiness of
god's churches throughout the world.
um.. first of all we'll start with a joke to see if we can
get you laughing in the aisles and after we've had a joke
we'll move into the main point of the, the message
(marian walks in from back to set up something for friendship
club)
oh its good to see that people are beginning to arrive now
thats wonderful, we've doubled our congregation already
this morning
and so we'd just like to let you know um that this meeting
is being televised throughout the world through the internet
to every living room throughout the um the.. universe!
and even people in outer space will be able to hear this
message
karl: thought you were gonna do a joke!
..that was the first of the jokes. ok!
