Final Fantasy NES Solo White Wizard dave_dfwm Part 1 / 8

It is actually possible to finish Final Fantasy with a single white wizard. This video series is a tutorial illustrating how to complete this challenge.

The rules:

1. Only a single white wizard can perform actions that help win the game.
2. The other 3 characters must have zero experience points at the game's end.
3. No Game Genie or Gameshark is allowed.

This video series was recorded on FCEU, an emulator. However, with this tutorial, you will clearly see that it is possible on a console.

@ebaumsdidit White Mages actually hit pretty decently, they just can't hit frequently. The power of the Iron Hammer is passable until you hit the Marsh Cave, and then you're crying for something else. I'm trying this challenge myself, trust me, it's ridiculous.

@Sandbag00 It can be done fairly on an emulator. Just don't use save-states. At all.

How the hell are you hitting more than one damage at level one? Fighter, Red Mage and Monk are the only ones capable of actually doing any decent damage at all in the original NES version (except for Black mage with spells).

With an Emulator, Solo Challenges aren't that much of a challenge

It takes savestates, reloading and some patience in some cases.

If you want a TRUE challenge, try doing so in the original NES version! (Not the Wii VC version)
