So many people have failed to actually watch the Lewis-Vitali fight, especially the Americans who can't face up to the fact that the best heavyweight of the era was a Brit. A badly out-of-shape and past-it Lewis had Vitali figured out by the fourth round and started to pad Vitali's eye easily. It was not a minor cut. Vitali got his face busted up. Sure, he won the first three easily, and probably the fourth too, but the state of Vitali's face was no fluke.

@PedroGriffinoify He won all 6 rounds dick head. And yes it was a fluke, vitali was knocking lewis around the ring and it was only due to the stitching of the glove that give vitali the cut. Lewis was an amazing fighter and it was an amazing fight but to say that lewis had vitali figured out is bollocks. That fight was the day everybody had seen a deadly challenger to lewis and that is the only reason he retired. He said he would give vitali a rematch to keep the fans and cameras happy.

Ali knocked Liston out, or at least humiliated him in fight 1, while Liston knocked Patterson down and out twice in 1 round. It's the style that's different. Lets see- chambers (1 loss), Haye, THompson (one loss), Peter (who was supposed to be the next big thing) Aerello (the mexican Mike Tyson), Danny Williams (beat the crap out of Mike Tyson) Gomez (one loss) Igbragamov & Chugaev, Mercer, Rahman (two common lewis oppontents) all got smashed by the klitchko's. @Gyro911 I would go with the former. There have not been as many noteworthy fighters in the heavyweight division in recent years. More importantly there have not been many noteworthy fights. no one wants to risk titles and records through confrontation, instead they build up a 30-0 record against chumps.
