MRathazar...count me in your minority. I love his version of Cyranos soliloquy at the bakery. It is almost as good as Ferrer's.

@captainj2400 I'd like to see that blog post.

@MrRathazar Thank you. You've encapsulated exactly what I feel about the album. I'm writing a blog entry about it right now. I think it's a good album with fine artistic merit.

I actually belong to a small minority. I ..liked The Transformed Form. A lot of people just consider it a mock or a joke on his part, but I think he does a damn good job. If you check out the whole album, he compares a theme or piece from a Shakespearean and compares it to a popular pop song of the day. He truly believed that soem songs were of prestigious literary merit. Some people say he overemphasizes and the like, but ..it's a great work.

So fucking bad and so fucking good AT THE SAME TIME!! I love it!

I agree - just listened to it again and it is funny!

Love his version of Mr Tambourine Man. His version is better than Bob Dylan. William Shatner screaming in the end of the song tops the cake. People got offended when I said I like the Shatner Version over Bob Dylan, but heck it is because he does a slower spoken word version. The album is so bad that it is good. I listen to the album because it makes me laugh.

Is he taking the piss?
Shouting incoherently "MR TAMBOURINE MAN......!"

My favorite song from that album. Also the vulcan girl is hot.
"MR. TAMBOURINE MAAAAAAN!" is the best part.
