The problem is whatever ethnicity or religion is known to be commiting acts of ethnic cleansing always denies it and calls it a "conspiracy" look at recent Holocaust accusations, or Serbian denials, or Darfur denials. We all know it o0ccurs through massive video, testimony, and ethnic displacement, yet through pure nationalism and religious bias, people deny, deny, deny. Just grow balls and speak out against something you know is wrong. It doesnt matter what religion you are, its WRONG.

Plus if we did instead of going to Iraq focus on afghanistan, we would have plenty of airforce and Navy ships and could press thge Sudanese govt to stop the genocide as we did in Yugoslavia in 1999. The political pressure and airstrikes forced milosovic to end the military campaign in Kosovo which resulted in ethnic cleansing. We protected the muslims in that country, so it doesnt matter what religion you are, genocide is wrong.

Why should genocide in Darfur matter to me? We ignored genocide in Iraq and you didn't have a problem with before, during, or afterwards. Let Sudan handle it's own business, it is time for America to take a more neutral/isolationist stance in the world. Like Sweden.

Iraq put us in a terrible situation, if we sent just as many troops into afghanistan as Iraq maybe we would have captured bin laden, and dismantled the taliban but instead we used the "Northern Alliance" and 5,000 special forces to train them a month after 9/11 to remove the Taliban. If we used the 250,000 troops we used in iraq instead in the country that actually was implicated in an attack that killed 3,000 people, I think we would have had a much more stable situation.
