Hello bamarne1945. Sorry for the slow reply. The Mtec 6 is designed as a multipurpose drill rig and can be equipped to drill wells or take samples in any type of geology from soft sediments to hard rocks. It has high rpm at the rotary head to enable diamond core drilling in hard rock and high torque to perform hollow stem auger drilling in soft sands, clays etc.
