This is a Wurlitzer style C with a bell unit added. We have just completed a total restoration and this beautiful Orchestrion is now for sale. This Orchestion plays 65 note piano, 38 Violin pipes , 38 Flute pipes Double mouthed , Bass & snare drum, triangle and a 14 note bell unit. As you can see from the pictures its now in excellent shape. Museum quality !! Its all original with exception to the bottom stained glass panel that we installed. Also installed a one button remote control that utilizes the solenoids in the coin box. Museums love this feature. As a crowd forms they just push the remote button and it plays away.

  • BEAUTIFUL looking and sounding Wurlitzer C!

Nice roll arrangement, too, it sounds like Wurlitzer sometimes (always?) used the same note arrangement for both the APP and PianOrchestra rolls, so getting this orchestrion would be a less-expensive way to enjoy "PianOrchestra" music!

Plus, this has a really snazzy "silver-grey" finish that you have done a very fine job of re-creating! Excellent!!!

Have you considered selling exact replica parts or at least drawings to make them?

  • Thanks for your nice comments. It has took many years of "trial & error" to successfully restore the original Wurlitzer "silver gray" finish and very pleased with our process. We replicate items only when needed, always going to great extent to restore the original parts. Keeping authenticity in mind. Although some items like Wurlitzer valves we mass produce and normally get replaced that we do offer for sale. Also reproduce the Wurlitzer Bell unit as seen in this unit.

  • We can reproduce any item but currently do not offer and plans or drawings. Many items we build are upgraded with custom parts that we have made (such as valve seats, springs etc) and would not be available to the public so having plans would not help much. Posting a couple more vids today. Really appreciate your input as always.

    Robert
