Kona Heritage Corridor, Historic Holualoa and the Kona Hotel, owned by the Inaba's, being built in 1926 by Jindero & Hatsuyo Inaba currently operated by Goro & Yayoka Inaba with whom we visited during our visit. There is a skywalk to a unique washroom which has an outstanding view of Kona from the Urinals and the customer area of a restaurant which has long been closed to the public. It's as if it had been sitting for 50 years, left as is, for someone like myself to discover

  • Yes, I remember this place from when I lived in Kona many years ago. I would have liked to see into the guest rooms, are they as ramshackle as the rest of the place? And I hope that's not the only bathroom :-)
