  • Hi!

    Nice GUI concept! I've tested the prototype on your homepage and found some bug:

    1) Launcher -> open Browser

    2) back to Launcher -> open Text Editor (or Browser, it doesn't matter)

    3) go to the left (previous opened window)

    4) close that window

    Suddenly, close button disappears =)

    But anyway, good job!

  • This right here is THE operating system of the future.

  • it's very good design but so dark... try blue color insted of black everywhere ;)

  • I don't think I've seen someone create an operating system as elegant and sufficient as this, on there own.

  • This looks like something Apple would put on the iPad.

  • Also although your menu looks cute, it breaks discoverability. On the current menus on Win,Mac,Linux you can drag along the menu bar and open each drawer as your mouse moves allowing you to glance through all your available options to find what you want. I don't think typing is a substitute because not everyone knows what the operation they want to do is called.

  • Nice work, but how can you make any sort of judgement on it with so few applications and documents?

    Surely we would need to see how usable it is with at least a few hundred files and about 20 apps on there and doing everyday things like web browsing, while chatting to someone and listening to music.

    I'd guess it would become pretty tedious to arrange dinner by reading reviews and chatting to someone without some sort of way to show two windows at once.

  • Although its a nice approach I think it puts to much emphasis on app navigation and app fast switching. Is this what the user really needs?

    The choreography is nice but it will get you dizzy after a while. I think simple tabs are better. They show the opened app, thier title and enable quicker navigation.
