IOCDF Spokesperson Jeff Bell's Interview with CBS News Correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook for "CBS Doc Dot Com." In Part 1, Jeff talks about his experiences living with OCD, how it affected his career, and the path he took to finally find a name for his disorder.
Thank you Jeff! Like you just said, by publicly sharing your internal struggles with the disorder, you are also paving the way for other sufferers to come out with their problems. Who knows - maybe 2 percent is actually an underestimate for OCD prevalence, because too many sufferers are hiding their problems!

This is great - thank you Jeff! Interesting point about OCD lying dormant until later years. Same thing with me - it came back with a vengeance after the birth of my first daughter. I just released my book on postpartum OCD..."Un-perfect. A not-so-graceful journey into motherhood." (available on amazon.com). Thank you again for your mission. We're joining arms with you in Minnesota! Sincerely, Kelly Nordstrom
