@guyrenardeau Scott Henderson is a totally different type of player who has been in school and teaching as well, therefore his vocab is a lot bigger. Jonny is not known for his huge variety of guitar playing but for his heart and feeling and amazing voice. you can always tell when Jonny is playing cause no one plays that minor sounding pentatonic like he does. It's not always about who knows the most scales and modes, it's about making music and connecting. imo

Johnny Lang has a very poor guitar vocabulary he palys all the time on standard pentatonic scales,(listen to Scott Henderson to hear the difference) but i like the show.

We saw the show in St. Louis. Jonny brought up the energy level and Kenny Wayne kept is going! Great!

i like the fact that he doesn't try and emulate Hendrix's voice but makes it his own NOt such a fan of the voice though haha. guitar playing is very very tight though
